Broken And Depressed
The future is a dark abyss,
As I fall straight into its claws.
Like a beast it devours me;
Savagely shreading my soul
The more I fight
The more I looses control.
And yet I am.
For what i ask?
What is mine?
I listen but hear none.
Why this I feel the way I do?
Anguish,Agony,Sorrow;
Are all my heart can conceive.
This be my winter
The harvest was rich;
But the satisfaction lost
No one to share the fruits
The fruits of mine
And yet I am.
When shall I see the light,
That which will guide me through
Guide me through the tempest
My soul is broken and depressed
Yet I shall carry through
Carry on nevertheless.
This is a poem submitted by a good friend of mine, in connection to "Suicide Forever".
666 What the H...?
666 The Number Of The Beast! Besides being the title of an Iron Maidden song, the number "666" holds an occult significane.
You must'v heard an extrazealous "rocker" yell 666 for no apparant reason, often 666 is commonly refered to the devil and all things evil, where does all this stem from?
The last part of the Bible, as some might know, is called "The Book Of Revelations". And beleive it or not, 666 originates from chapter 13.
The '666' is an allusion to Revelations chapter 13 verse 11 (which describes the lamb dragon, the false prophet of Revelations) :
Incidently verse 18 is the intro to the song 'Number of the Beast'.This is just an extract from www.awitness.org, im not an expert on religion (duh!), hence i apologise in advance if anything mentioned is not true.

Im sure some of us have even had thoughts of suicide! wanting to stop the pain by ending life itself............... u might not wana admit it..... but atleast once in your life u must'v thought of dieing! i know i have, i'v had recurring nightmares 'bout killing myself.
Sadly there are a number of people around the world thinking the same thing. It is estimated that over 276,000 teenagers attemp suicide every year, and over 5000 of them succeed! (figures taken from a UN report).
Most often suicidal people are just depressed, they feel alone and worthless.

THE PACARD PROJECT
Application of Artificial Neural Networks for Path Planning and Obstacle Avoidance for Autonomous Mobile Robot
The PACARD project is in its initial stages, it invloves fabrication of a Autonomous Mobile Robot, the Neural Brain and user interface.
The goal is to build an "intelligent" machine that will successfully navigate its way around obstacles in a generic flat environment, and find the fastest path from point A to B.
Any suggestions, comments, information are welcome.

THE POWER OF
MATLAB

MATLAB
MATLAB is an intuitive language and a technical computing environment. It provides core mathematics and advanced graphical tools for data analysis, visualization, and algorithm and application development. With more than 600 mathematical, statistical, and engineering functions, engineers and scientists rely on the MATLAB environment for their technical computing needs.
Application Development ToolsThe application development tools include the MATLAB Compiler, the MATLAB Web Server, and the MATLAB Runtime Server. MATLAB COM Builder and MATLAB Excel Builder work in conjunction with the MATLAB Compiler to automatically generate targeted objects.
Application development tools enable you to create and distribute standalone versions of your MATLAB applications and share your MATLAB work with colleagues who use other environments.
ToolboxesToolboxes are collections of highly-optimized, application-specific functions that extend MATLAB and Simulink. Toolboxes support applications involving signal and image processing, control system design, optimization, financial engineering, symbolic math, neural networks, and others. Toolbox functions are built in the MATLAB language and can be easily viewed and modified.
Data Acquisition and Access ToolsThese products provide straightforward access to data from external devices and other software packages. From controlling and communicating with data acquisition devices and instruments to database connectivity and interfacing with programs such as Microsoft Excel, these products allow you to easily get your data into MATLAB.
SIMULINK
Simulink is a simulation and prototyping environment for modeling, simulating, and analyzing real-world, dynamic systems. Simulink provides a block diagram interface that is built on the core MATLAB numeric, graphics, and programming functionality.
StateflowStateflow is a graphical simulation environment for modeling and designing event-driven systems. Stateflow provides Simulink users with an elegant solution for designing the control or protocol logic found in embedded systems.
BlocksetsBlocksets are collections of application-specific blocks that support multiple design areas, including electrical power-system modeling, digital signal processing, fixed-point algorithm development, and more. These blocks can be incorporated directly into your Simulink models.
Code Generation Tools Real-Time Workshop and Stateflow Coder generate customizable C code directly from your Simulink and Stateflow diagrams for rapid prototyping, hardware-in-the-loop simulations, and desktop rapid simulation. Extension products generate efficient C code for embedded systems applications.
