Broken And Depressed

The future is a dark abyss,
As I fall straight into its claws.
Like a beast it devours me;
Savagely shreading my soul
The more I fight
The more I looses control.
And yet I am.

For what i ask?
What is mine?
I listen but hear none.
Why this I feel the way I do?
Anguish,Agony,Sorrow;
Are all my heart can conceive.
This be my winter
The harvest was rich;
But the satisfaction lost
No one to share the fruits
The fruits of mine
And yet I am.

When shall I see the light,
That which will guide me through
Guide me through the tempest
My soul is broken and depressed
Yet I shall carry through
Carry on nevertheless.

This is a poem submitted by a good friend of mine, in connection to "Suicide Forever".

666 What the H...?

666 The Number Of The Beast! Besides being the title of an Iron Maidden song, the number "666" holds an occult significane.

You must'v heard an extrazealous "rocker" yell 666 for no apparant reason, often 666 is commonly refered to the devil and all things evil, where does all this stem from?

The last part of the Bible, as some might know, is called "The Book Of Revelations". And beleive it or not, 666 originates from chapter 13.
Without going into the details of the Book Of Revelations, here's a small extract that shows where 666 is mentioned.

The '666' is an allusion to Revelations chapter 13 verse 11 (which describes the lamb dragon, the false prophet of Revelations) :
13:11 Then I saw another beast which rose out of the earth; it had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon.
13:12 It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed.
13:13 It works great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men;
13:14 and by the signs which it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast, it deceives those who dwell on earth, bidding them make an image for the beast which was wounded by the sword and yet lived;
13:15 and it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast should even speak, and to cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain.
13:16 Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead,
13:17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.
13:18 This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six.

Incidently verse 18 is the intro to the song 'Number of the Beast'.This is just an extract from www.awitness.org, im not an expert on religion (duh!), hence i apologise in advance if anything mentioned is not true.
Soon ill be posting a summary of the 13 chapters of The Book Of Revelations, with their interpretation (on of the many possible ones).

SUICIDE FOREVER

We'v all had our moments of sadness, depression, fear, anxiety ............................ and of course the most common reaction is "it's all because of regular "ups and downs" of life"..... or simply "it's a phase....... it will pass by".

Im sure some of us have even had thoughts of suicide! wanting to stop the pain by ending life itself............... u might not wana admit it..... but atleast once in your life u must'v thought of dieing! i know i have, i'v had recurring nightmares 'bout killing myself.

Sadly there are a number of people around the world thinking the same thing. It is estimated that over 276,000 teenagers attemp suicide every year, and over 5000 of them succeed! (figures taken from a UN report).
So what seperates us from those who actualy tried to die? The behavioral patterns found in the backgrounds of most suicide victims include stress, confusion, self-doubt, the pressure to succeed, and financial uncertainty are normal emotions that many teens feel. So it is often difficult to predict who may be at risk.
"People who talk about suicide often commit suicide". or atleast try to.
Many who attempt suicide are under the influence of drugs or alcoholwhile other attempts are impulsive acts. Some people who are suicidal are very good at hiding their emotional pain, appearing cheerful and popular on the outside, to mask their pain and suicidal thoughts on the inside.
Some warning signs of suicide are:
depression
anger or hostility
inability to feel pleasure
feeling hopeless
guilt
isolation or withdrawal
insomnia
loss of appetite
preoccupation with death
giving things away that were once valued
ending significant relationships or commitments (breaking up)
sudden uplift in mood after depression
sudden change in behavior or disruptive behavior
severe outbursts of temper
excessive substance use
absence from school or work
inability to carry out normal tasks of daily life
inability to laugh

Most often suicidal people are just depressed, they feel alone and worthless.
So what can you do to help? Just look around yourself, your family and friends ...................... everyone has problems just like you do. lend a ear to their problems, yet your loved ones know your there for them.
The most depressing thing for a person is to think that his or her life means nothing to others. i read a suicide note online and one line caught my attention the most " After my surgery i was immobile for 5 weeks, during which i received no phone calls from any people from college my 'friends' or from family, i was all alone".
You might think u'll never encounter a suicidal person, and i hope tht's true, but chances are sooner or later, someone u knew will attemp to commit suicide. Iv lost two of my close friends due to suicide, and the pain will never end.
Try and be there to listen to a friend, in his time of need. Don't judge them, Don't comment, jus hear them out, lend an outlet for their pain. Trust me it helps. And who knows sumday when ure feeling down, Sumone may wana listen to you.

Please give it a Thought.
